I can't even believe I was able to find a pan this size that doesn't have rolled edges to trap all sorts of bacteria and the bends are so very perpendicular, not rounded -exactly what I wanted because it's for making "bars;" you know, like energy bars. I have a question about the construction, though: There is some kind of clear substance that looks like plastic on the outsides of the corners. What is that? Will it melt in the oven?
