  • Isomalt Hard Candy Recipe 4 parts Isomalt to 1 part water. Stir over medium heat until dissolved. Insert thermometer and cook without stirring unthe the temperature reaches 320F. Remove from heat. Let cool 5 - 10 minutes undisturbed before adding color and flavoring.

For many years I wanted to buy sugar free ginger candy for my mom. I could never find it. Most ginger candy is made with real sugar. Finally I decided to make my own. I did some internet research and found that I needed isomalt. Thank you Sweet Treat Supply for providing that product. My mother loved her sugar free ginger candies that I made for her.
